Being a previous Focus RS owner, all RS's are a special interest of mine and it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to work on this powerhouse. This RS, Tuned and Modded was the pride and joy of an enthusiast who wanted the car looking its best ready for show season. Showing signs of poor washing, a life of heavy use and abuse this RS certainly needed some attention. Showing signs of heavy contamination from Tar, Fallout and general road grime hours were spent decontaminating, claying and deep cleaning the interior and exterior of the vehicle ready for polishing. Once ready, the trim and plastics were taped up to prevent staining from the polishing compounds, paintwork inspected and readings taken to ensure that all paint thickness levels were safe to receive minor levels of cutting to restore the clarity and finish of the clear coat. A single stage enhancement was carried out removing swirling, marring and etching from multiple areas of the vehicle and enhancing the appearance of the paintwork. Polishing finished, all tape was removed, the car snow foamed again and washed to remove all traces of polishing dust and compound. Safely dried using a Metro Vac Blower, the paintwork was wiped down in preparation for Carbon Collective oracle an inorganic glass coating which will add extreme levels of gloss and repellency through its ultra hydrophobic properties. Two coatings later, the wheels were sealed, glass treated both with Carbon Collective Platinum sealants the engine bay was dressed, tyres and trim dressed and the interior finished. A true thoroughbred hot hatch, this RS now a stunning example in every respect.
