Our studio is suitably equipped with specialist lighting, temperature controls and equipment in order to provide the highest standard of PPF installs and specialist automotive detailing. So about us? A team of three, Detail Driven was started in 2010 by me, Darren. My passion for Automotive Care stemmed from my obsession with cars from a young age. A petrol head from the moment I could say the word car, my obsession with four wheels grew as I grew. Having a passion for cars only lead me down one route and here we are today. It all began life as a second Job on my parents drive way, now many years later I’m proud be part of a three man team detailing and protecting some of the most prestigious examples of automotive engineering.

Car detailing refers to the comprehensive cleaning, restoration and protection of a vehicle. At Detail Driven, our services comprise of both interior and exterior detailing, ensuring your car leaves our studio looking brand new. Unlike a standard car wash, detailing involves the use of specialised tools, products and techniques to meticulously address every surface of the car including leather, upholstery and carpets. With our car detailing in Kent your car will be detailed and enhanced to the highest possible finish transforming its appearance and adding important protection.
The condition of your vehicle’s exterior is what eyes are drawn to first. When you bring your car to our studio, we begin a meticulous inspection and multi step detailing process to make good first impressions a guarantee. Here’s a rundown of how we carry out exterior detailing for our clients in Kent:
- Washing and Decontamination: We’ll use multi step decontamination and deep cleaning, including snow foam,safe wash methods, tar and fallout removal to safely remove dirt and grime from the exterior while preventing damage to the paintwork.
- Claying: Next, we’ll ensure the paintwork is clay barred to remove bonded contaminants such as tree sap, industrial fallout and road tar.
- Inspection: After safely drying your vehicle, we’ll then inspect its exterior for any signs of damage, scratches, swirls and chips.
- Polishing: Subject to the paintworks requirements, various stages of machine polishing are carried out to remove paint swirls, scratches and defects to restore the paintworks appearance to the best possible finish.
- Paint Protection: After prepping the paintwork thoroughly, ceramic coatings can then be applied to protect your vehicle making maintenance, washing, cleaning and aftercare quicker and easier and prolonging your vehicles finish.
It’s all well and good having a gleaming exterior, but if the interior isn’t up to scratch, you won’t get the first-class, good-as-new feeling you’re undoubtedly after. We offer basic interior detailing in all our packages, but if the condition requires, the below extra service can be carried out:
- Vacuuming: As a basic start, we’ll remove all of the most visible dust and dirt.
- Degreasing: Our APC degreaser is then applied to all surfaces and smaller brushes and cloths are used to deep clean each interior element
- Shampooing and Steaming: We’ll then ensure the carpets and cloth seats are thoroughly shampooed and steam cleaned- the amount of dirt that can be hidden within a vehicle’s fabrics is often surprising to our clients.
- Leather: Any leather interior elements are cleaned and restored to ensure removal of dirt, oils and stains.
- Finishing Touches: A final vacuuming is carried out, plastic and rubber surfaces are treated, and the seating- whether leather or cloth- is protected.
As the interior of your vehicle is where you’ll be spending the majority of your time, it’s of the utmost importance to maximise comfort, hygiene and cleanliness.
