Our Journey into the world of detailing!

We are a small team of passionate automotive enthusiasts with extremely high standards and attention to detail. Detail Driven was born from a lifelong passion for all things automotive. It’s a story that began in 2010 when my journey into the world of automotive care took its first steps. As a dedicated petrolhead, my love affair with cars started as early as I can remember, and it only deepened with time.

What started as a side hustle on my parents’ driveway in 2012 through my love for taking care of my own car, it eventually evolved into something more profound. In 2014, Detail Driven became a reality, I created a brand name, a logo and a dedicated website. I began sharing content on social media and actively promoting my own work, It was the beginning of an exciting journey.

Word of mouth soon spread, and our client base began to flourish, driven by a commitment to excellence and an unwavering passion for cars. By 2016, I secured my first unit, unlocking new opportunities to expand our services and take on more projects. The diary began to fill, booking weeks in advance and my own standards increasing week on week I knew the next step was our own premises.

From Strength to Strength: Our Journey of Growth

Two years later, in 2018, we moved to our second larger unit, this time equipping it with professional grade tools and lighting to ensure I could continue to deliver at the same high standards I had been but on a bigger scale. The space allowed me to take on larger more complex projects and continue with the everyday work. The following year In 2019, after extensive training and research, I became a certified Modesta ceramic coating installer. The pursuit of excellence never ends, and Modesta quickly emerged as the answer to achieving unparalleled protection and shine.

As our diary continue to grow and so did my own expectations of the business. We needed more space, a more secure and presentable site. In 2020, we relocated once again, this time to our current unit in Paddock Wood. This purpose-built space was meticulously designed to meet the highest standards in automotive detailing, complete with cutting-edge amenities like hot water washing systems, air conditioning, custom-built lighting for flawless paint correction. Essentially this site was highly secure, gated and we were able to add our own security features such as alarms and camera systems.

Darren has done an outstanding job on my black Transit van. Now, it looks amazing and beading away. He also recommended putting a tinted ppf over my  rear lights as I was saying how I didn’t like the look. Now the are tinted and I’m so much happier with the look of the car! Next is to de-chrome which Ben is also able to do. Definitely be returning to him for this being done!! Thanks Ben!
