What You Can Expect to Pay

Paint protection film is one of the most common questions we field at our studio in Paddock Wood, and price is almost always the first thing people want to know. The honest answer is that no two quotes look the same, because no two cars are the same. What we can do is show you our starting prices, explain what sits behind them and help you work out which level of coverage makes sense for the way you actually use your car.

Understanding Our PPF Prices

These are the starting figures for our packages. All prices exclude VAT.

  • Front End Kit, from £900. Covers the front bumper, wings, headlights, bonnet and A-pillars. This is where the majority of stone chip damage happens, so it is the option most clients begin with.
  • Extended Front End Kit, from £1,295. Everything in the front end kit, plus sills and stone guards on the quarter-panels. A sensible step up if you cover a lot of motorway miles.
  • Full Coverage, from £3,500. Complete protection across the whole car, front to rear, top to bottom. Popular with owners of luxury and high performance vehicles.
  • Stealth Conversion, from £4,000. Matte film installed over gloss paint, changing the finish of your car while protecting it at the same time.
  • Windscreen PPF, £350. A clear film that shields your windscreen from chips and debris.

What Changes the Price

Size is the obvious factor. A supercar with wide arches needs considerably more film than a hatchback. Complexity matters just as much. Sharp recesses, deep vents and unusual body lines take longer to work with and often need a panel broken into several pieces to hold up over time.

Template availability also plays a part. Most modern cars have patterns ready to go, but older and rarer models sometimes do not, and cutting a pattern by hand adds hours to the job. Paint condition is the final piece. If the paintwork needs correcting before film goes on, that preparation is quoted separately.

Is It Worth Spending the Money?

Film pays for itself in two ways. It stops the day to day damage that quietly erodes a car’s value, and it saves you the cost of respraying panels later on. Our film self heals with heat, so light marks disappear rather than building up. When it comes off years down the line, the paint underneath is in the condition it left the factory.
